Objectives

  • Foster a cooperative dynamic by promoting cross-border mobility in teaching, research and vocational training in the field of landscape art, including landscape design, horticulture, gardens and creative practices.

Project actions

  • Establishment of a cross-border professional partnership
    with artists Lara Almarcegui and Aline Perré.
  • South and North Laboratories: shared spaces for experimentation bringing together artists, students and teachers in Huesca and Tarbes.
  • Creation of a cross-border cultural community through work developed by students and their teachers following the laboratories.

Results

  • Introduction of new approaches to the understanding and transformation of the landscape, incorporating a more aesthetic, ecological and cross-border (North–South) perspective.

This call for microprojects has been funded with the surplus of the Spain–France–Andorra Territorial Cooperation Operational Programme (POCTEFA) 2007–2013, which was transferred to the Member States (Spain and France) as national contributions, thus losing its status as ERDF funds.
