Micro-projects
Eastern Area
The micro-projects in the eastern area have been coordinated by the Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion with the support of all institutional partners in the region.
The Pyrenees-Mediterranean Euroregion is a political cooperation organisation bringing together the Government of Catalonia, the Government of the Balearic Islands and the Occitanie Region. In 2009, it became a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) and has since been recognised as an interregional cooperation body at European level. Its headquarters are located in Perpignan, in the Occitanie region of France.
The Euroregion aims to become a resilient territory by 2030 and to promote a Europe of regions. To this end, it works to create sustainable development hub in the north-western Mediterranean, based on the social, environmental, cultural and economic integration of the territory, and to contribute to the construction of a Europe of regions that is united, supportive and close to its citizens.
