Micro-projects
Central Area
The micro-projects in the central area have been coordinated by the Pirineos-Pyrénées EGTC with the support of all the institutional partners in the area.
The Pirineos-Pyrénées EGTC is a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation established in 2020 by the Government of Aragon, the Provincial Council of Huesca and the French departments of Hautes-Pyrénées and Pyrénées-Atlantiques. This organisation promotes cooperation on both sides of the Pyrenees.
It provides the Central Pyrenees with an international outlook from a tourism perspective, and promotes new approaches to mobility in the region by integrating best practices that facilitate travel for both residents and visitors. It also supports balanced development of the Pyrenean territory and its slopes, incorporating sustainability into the management of roads, border crossings and infrastructure connecting the two sides of the mountain range.
